just a beautiful greeting card
This photo was taken in the winter during the big wave season where everyone heads to the North Shore of Oahu that wants to surf or watch the surfing during the best time of the year.
The big wave season Starts December 1st and ends on February 28th. If you visit the North Shore of Oahu making a pit stop at Haleiwa is a must. There are a lot of great places to eat as well as art gallery's and of course places to buy surf boards and get surfing lessons. This little strip of the North Shore is kind of like going back in time.
There is a saying on Oahu "Keep the country COUNTRY" basically this means more or less that what the North Shore looked like 30 years ago will look basically the same for the next 100 years. Lets hope this part of the island does just that. Thanks for visiting and hope you get a chance to see this island for yourself and enjoy your time here.

For most people who have never lived in Hawaii, Aloha means hello and goodbye. Aloha also means living in harmony with the people and land around you with mercy, sympathy, grace, and kindness. When greeting another person with aloha, there is mutual regard and affection. Please look around and if you have any questions for me please feel free to send me an email. Thank you for stopping by my profile and have a beautiful day. Mahalo, Eric All Images Copyright 2021 Eric Evans http://www.alohaartprints.com These images do not belong to the public domain.
