ENSO Winter, a Pineapple Express heavy rain blew through last week and the creeks filled up, sometimes flooding, and yesterday the local reservoir was still releasing water to be ready for the next one due in next Wednesday. For why, Google El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO, for short). This is big weather for central coastal California where I live. My gauge measured out about 11.5 inches for the three biggest days rainfall.

My camera's with me, and I stay alert for pictures. I'm keeping it simple and digital. Then I interpret the image using controls available with a simple software program. I do not use "canned" filters like "watercolor effect", for example, to do this. I like to surprise my self. Since the light is always different from photo to photo, the interpretation is rarely repeatable, and visually,I try to work in what I'm thinking, reading, seeing, and feeling. My photographs are copyright protected under United States' law, are not in the public domain, and I reserve all rights for their use.
