This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

Artist's Description
This photo was taken on a beautiful clear day of the west side Mount Olomana. Mount Olomana is a razor thin mountain on the windward side of Oahu Near Kailua and Lanikai Beaches. There are three peaks to this mountain and it can be climbed for those that have the stomach and skill to do so.
Most people only climb to the first peak (the one on the left), but for those that have no fear go all the way to the third peak. If you google this mountain you will see how hard it is to get a good shot of it. The sky is almost always cloudy and having this beautiful powder blue sky is a very rare occurrence.
If you ever visit the island of Oahu and have the urge to do a unique climb give this one a shot. Be warned it is not easy and most of the time the weather is very cloudy, but if it is a nice day the view from the first peak is well worth the effort.
